Biological characteristics: A medium-ripening variety. Standard drought tolerance. High resistance to lodging. The persistence of plants to harvesting is high 87-92%. Damage by hidden stem pests is very low. The loose smut affects the standard Skakun at the same level. Protein content 15,8 - 16,5%, higher than the standard by 0,7%. Weight of 1000 grains 35.4 - 36.6 grams.
The average yield for 2003-2005 was 33.0 dt/ha, an excess of 2.6 dt/ha compared to the standard "" Skakun "". In the production variety trial, the yield was 34.6 dt/ha, 3.1 dt/ha higher than that of the standard.
